Heading into October....

What a great first full month of school! We've been very busy in 1st grade. I've been trying new things with this group, and they've been hard workers. B-7 is extremely thankful & grateful to Mr. Kline, who donated such AWESOME technology to our classroom!
We've been busy writing and reading in 1st grade... but best of all, we've published our work online! It's so much fun to see everything we've been doing on our class website. The kids especially enjoyed using the 'green screen' to create our Little Red Hen movie. They now ask me all the time if we can act out the stories we do. Look for another one to be posted soon!
Blabberize.com has now finished updating their website to Blabberize 2.0. It has way more features that I can't wait to try out! Check out our first Bobcat Blabbers of the year.
Next week a special visitor will arrive in B-7. Stay tuned for more on this mystery guest!

B-7 Bobcats... New Wiki!

Check out our new class wiki~ www.b-7bobcats.wikispaces.com. I'm really excited about using wikis this year. Check frequently to see what my 1st graders have been up to in B-7! We'll be posting lots of projects throughout the year.
