Web2.0 in a nutshell

I came across this Glogster today, and found it to be quite informative and creative concerning the many Web2.0 tools available. It was created by a professor (Dr. G) at State University of New York. Check it out!

Digital Media...

My second course, Digital Media in the Classroom just ended. I learned so many amazing things that I was able to share with my students. Below is an informative video on frogs that I created in this course. For this project, I had to use Discovery Streaming editable clips and narrate myself. I used Green Screen, Blabberize, and BFX codes within my video. You'll probably find yourself laughing at my attempt to sing. :P

I also created a Google Earth tour, Christmas Around the World. This was my first attempt at Google Earth. I particularly enjoyed incorporating Glogster, Blabberize, Vokis and Discovery Assignment Builder into this project. My students absolutely loved it! Winter's here!

Wow... this school year seems to be flying by! It's already December, and you can definitely feel the chill in our classroom as the weather changes! We have a busy month ahead of us in B-7, with a Jan Brett author study and Holiday Craft Day fast approaching. For the past few weeks during our "DIG-IT" time, the students have been studying bears. This is always one of my favorite units to do. There are so many great resources to dig into. Check out some of our projects we created. The students did Bear Blabbers, a Readers Theatre, and Poems about bears.
